Mary

I was born in Dublin, Ireland, and attended OJC and UNC with major in sociology. I have two boys.

I have worked with Dr. Trujillo as a dental assistant and business assistant since 1983. Dr Trujillo has provided his staff with many and varied continuing education opportunities, which I have been fortunate enough to be able to attend. My goal is to provide our present and future patients with up-to-date information and serve them in a friendly, caring environment.

I am thankful for the team I am a part of here. Our Doctor, our team, and our patients are "above average" and push me to be the best I can be.

I enjoy skiing, hiking, biking, swimming, reading and time with family and friends.

I am a La Junta native. I've been involved in dentistry for 21 years and I've worked for Dr. Trujillo since 1993. Of the different areas I have worked in dentistry, my favorite is my current job as treatment coordinator. It's rewarding to me to be able to help our patients find solutions in order to have their dental work done.

My husband, Max and I have been married over 30 years, and we are very proud of your two grown daughters. We enjoy spending time with our four grandchildren, and we are involved in many church activities.

 

Aubrey

I was born in Rocky Ford and moved to California when I was seven. I came back to Rocky ford my freshman year and graduated from Rocky ford High School in 1999. I moved back to Northern California to attend school, and I received my dental assisting certificate. I worked as a dental assistant for three years in California before returning to Rocky Ford. I have five years experience as a dental assistant and have been at Dr. Trujillo's office since October of 2009. My goal is to provide quality dental care to each patient.

 

I am married to Jason and we have a beautiful daughter, Isabel. Together we enjoy camping, fishing, traveling, and just spending time together.

 

Yolanda .........................................

Hi I'm Yolanda. I was born & raised in L.A., California. After high school, I attended Rio Hondo Junior College. In 1994, I made the move to Colorado and married my childhood friend, Justin. Together, we have 3 amazing children, Taylor, Lennon, & Dylan. In 1997 my career was put in full effect as a dental assistant for Dr. Trujillo. I knew my junior year in high school the field of dentistry was my calling. Each day brings rewarding challenges, the look on our patients faces when treatment is complete, their gratitude and appreciation towards us, is reason enough for me to love my job. Since 1997, I continue to broaden my dental path with weekly, monthly and yearly dental continuing education. My goal however remains the same, to be of service to our patients.

On a personal note, I love being with my family. We do everything together, bowling, camping, fishing, catching a movie, in three places at one time for sporting events, as long as we're together, we're whole.

Karen

I was born and raised in Rocky Ford, CO. I graduated from RFHS in 1998. After high school, I joined the US Navy. I attended Dental School at Shepard Air Force base in Wichita Falls, TX and received a certificate in dental assisting. I have assisted in private practices from North Chicago, IL to Newport Beach, CA, down to Pueblo, CO. I have been a dental assistant for approximately 11 years.

I moved back to the Valley in the fall of 2008 and joined Dr. Trujillo's practice November 2008. I enjoy being a dental assistant because I get to help people improve their smiles and overall health.

I was born in Denver, Co and moved to La Junta at the age of 2. I graduated from La Junta High School in 1998. I attended Otero Junior College for 1/2 years
for an Associate Arts degree. In the fall of 2000, I married a wonderful man, Antonio. We have a beautiful daughter, Edith Elizabeth and a handsome son Eban Antonio. I have been an active member in the community for many years, 13 years of which has been with the local mariachi from my church. I play the trumpet in the mariachi and I also hold the office of secretary.

I have been in the dental field since 2005, all in Dr. Trujillo's office where he has provided me with all of the tools and knowledge necessary for my continuing
education.

My goal is to provide patients with the best dental experience for maintaining and preserving their teeth as long as they are willing.

Nathan

I was born in Colorado. I have 12+ years experience in dental laboratory technology. I enjoy spending time with family, listening to and playing music, riding dirt
bikes, shooting photography, doing just about anything active, playing video games, seeing other people laugh and smile, and being bald. I believe in constant/daily self improvement.

Evan .............................................

I was born and raised in Rocky Ford, CO. I received a BA in art from CSU Pueblo in 2004. My wife Brittany and I have a son named Alec. I have five years of experience in the dental field. Working in a dental lab has been an intriguing way to apply my artistic skills. My goals are to provide an aesthetically pleasing and functional product for the patient.

During my off time, I spend much time with family. I enjoy playing music by leading praise and worship at my local church. I also enjoy riding ATV's and dirt bikes.

Gail

After being raised and graduating high school in the Denver area, I received a scholarship attending Arapahoe Community College in the field of hematology. My career interest shifted to Dental Hygiene and I finished my prerequisites at SCSC Pueblo, Dental Hygiene Degree at Sheridan Wyoming and my anesthesia certificate at CSU. I then moved to Burlington CO on a cattle ranch, where my two daughters and son were raised. At this time I taught Bible School, was a 4H leader, and helped coach basketball, softball and rodeo.

Personally I enjoy equine events, biking, skiing, hiking, camping, running, nutrition and my career. Dental Hygiene is especially rewarding. As I acquire more knowledge from new technology and research, I can continue to provide patients with ultimate professional Dental Hygiene services and help them obtain and maintain optimum oral health.
